Scale of charges

DASL provides a range of treatment and prevention options for people with drug and alcohol problems, their relatives and employers.

DASL’s alcohol services are free to those who live or work in the boroughs of Newham and Bexley. Drug services are free to those who live in Newham.

We welcome referrals from people and organisations outside of these areas. For these referrals there is a scale of charges listed below.

We recognise that entering any sort of treatment is a major decision and we are happy to meet with you, your family, employer or funder before you make any decision about this in order to explain the treatment options, to show you round our building and to introduce you to staff. 

We are able to offer flexible packages of treatment which meet your particular needs. We believe our services offer excellent value for money and we are able to demonstrate good outcomes for all our treatment options. If you would like more information about this then please contact us.

Individuals

1. TheCommunity Alcohol Detoxification Service (CADS)

TheCommunity Alcohol Detoxification Service provides community detoxification via an ambulatory basis utilising pharmacological treatment. This means medications for treating service users with withdrawal symptoms during medically assisted alcohol withdrawal.

2. The Counselling Service

Counselling sessions are provided once weekly for 50 minutes and for up to 12 weeks or more, the sessions are at the same time, day and venue. The person, couple or family should be able to attend their appointments not having consumed alcohol on the day of their appointments.

3. Structured Day Programme, inclusive of Drug & Alcohol Aftercare Programme

This is a rolling programme designed to have a repeat cycle after twelve weeks. Service users are encouraged to explore independent options e.g. education, training, employment and develop skills to maintain their chosen goals.
